The wet hop week continues with Postmark Brewing’s seasonal fresh hop pale ale.
“The muthafukin saga continues!…
God damn I’m glad y’all set it off!
Used to be hard, now ya just wet and soft!”
I have had one Postmark brew before, the Westcoast Pale ale, and I really enjoyed it, so I’m looking forward to this very much. Their pale was a crushingly crisp and unique experience and I expect I will yearn for another pint of this once I’m done the bottle.
“Half-pint bitch, fuckin’ your homeboys.
You little maggot; Eazy E turned f*****.”
One, two, three, pour, (get your woman, on the floor. Gotta gotta get up and get down.). It’s a nice rich copper color, half a finger of fine, pure white froth that ebbed to a miniscule collar.
The smells are very mild flowers and a candy sweetness. A reserved but beautiful aroma. The tastes are also very mild, and the Chinook Hops are showcased well, with mostly earthy bitters, grains, and florals. It’s a light but incredibly tasty beer, the definition of a sessionable beer.
The mouthfeel is super crisp! It’s so easy drinking, I could crush these all night. Exceptionally clean and fresh overall.
4.5/5 Fantastic! Absolutely loving this super smooth pale! This is an exquisite beer worth seeking out. I am excited to go through the rest of their catalog. This is how fresh hopping should be done!
